CotD #3 - Absol

Today's CotD is Absol 67/116 from Plasma Freeze

1st attack: Mind Jack - At the cost of 1 dark and 1 normal energy card, this attack does 20HP damage plus 20HP for every benched pokemon on the opponent's side. So if they had 3 benched Pokemon, this attach would do 20HP damage as the base, plus 20HP for each of the 3 Pokemon. Which would total out to 80HP damage total.

2nd attack: Fearsome Shadow - Requiring 1 dark, and 2 normal energies, this attack does 60HP damage to the opponent's defending Pokemon, and they have to reveal all the cards currently in their hand.

Artwork Rating: 3/3

Art Comment: Very eye-catching image, especially the blue coloring of the lightning around Absol. Gives the Pokemon a powerful appearance.

Over-all Rating: 5/5

Comment: Ok now I know some people may be thinking a full 5 stars is a bit high for this card, but it's really not! This card played at any time in the match could do some serious damage. The first attack alone can deal high damage, and take out quite a few Pokemon before it goes down. The 2nd attack is useful if you want to get an idea of what the opponent's strategy might be against you. So this card deserves 5 shining stars!
